Friday, pizza-night! I shared my meal with Calvin tonight. We made homemade pizza and it was so delicious. The first pizza was topped with red sauce, parmesan, herbed goat cheese, spinach (from our CSA), garlic, & red bell peppers. The spinach came from our CSA and it was so wonderful. It had such such a complex flavor and fresh, thick, crisp texture.
The second pizza (pictured below) we topped with red sauce, parmesan, pepper jack cheese, spinach (from our CSA), garlic, red bell peppers, & shiitake mushrooms (from our CSA). The mushrooms were full of flavor and tasted plump and buttery in my mouth.
I can’t wait for pizza leftovers tomorrow!
